For the first 2 years of its existence, Mall of Sofia proved to be not only the best organized trade space but a real social and cultural center as well. Its refined architecture and contemporary interior, its convenient location in the city center and the constant stream of diverse groups of people have turned it into a preferred place to make presentations and organize social and cultural events and initiatives. The dynamic atmosphere of Mall of Sofia was used to put into practice the idea of creating a School for Pregnant Ladies. This initiative was in help of the happy but not so confident future Moms.

Mall of Sofia also hosted the founding meeting of the Anti Yo-You club, the purpose of which is to provide mutual support to all the ladies, who are struggling with digestional conditions as a result of unhealthy dieting. One of the air bridges on the second floor turned into the first catwalk for many contestants in the Mini Miss Bulgaria 2007 competition. It is a curious fact that the Mall of Sofia was the place were the dream of shared happiness came true – not only relatives but visitors witnessed a wedding ceremony. There is no doubt that Mall of Sofia has established itself as a preferred place for all kinds of festivities. We celebrated together and we will continue to celebrate together occasions like New Year and Baba Marta, Valentine’s Day, Women’s Day, Kid’s Day. The artistic interior of Mall of Sofia is a challenge to artists and photographers. The “Images from Israel” photo exhibition by Zafer Galibov found its most logical place inside the glass walls of the Mall and carried into the center of the capital the lively images from a distant land. The hosts would like this exhibition to be the beginning of a series of exhibitions united under the name “The world is visiting the Mall of Sofia“.
