Stefanel offers its clients the latest fashions. Stefanel presents a complete collection of high quality products. Our garments are suitable for any cases. The assortment of garments and accessories is very rich but we focus mainly on knitwear. Out target age group is 20-35. These are young and ambitious women, who have already established or are in the process of establishing their fashion orientation. These women look for garments, the price of which matches their quality and the rich colour and model assortment of which can be combined in multiple ways to respond to fashion trends and to stress their youth. The history of the company starts in the distant 1959 in the small town of Ponte di Piave in Trevizo province. This is the year, when the company starts to manufacture knitwear in the Malificio Piave factory. In any case, the leap in the development of the company is due to Giuseppe Stefanel. The first store opens in 1980 in Sienna and 2 years later one more store opens in Paris. Today there are more than 700 stores all over the world. Stefanel was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange in 1987 and it has managed to become an industrial giant, which includes separate divisions for knitwear, sport garments, pret-a-porter, and jeans. In the beginning of the new millennium the company strengthens its presence in Germany and it overtakes Hallhubehr GÌBH – a large company with a chain of shopping centres. Two years later 50% of the company are deposited at Nuance, a leading company with a chain of shopping centres at airports and this move allows Stefanel to report EUR822.2 million revenue on 31st December 2005.
